1. What is Certified Workflow Architect for Customer and Industry Workflows?

Certified Workflow Architect (CWA) for Customer and Industry Workflows (CIWF) combines a solid foundation in platform expertise with experience in implementing Customer and Industry Workflows. This cohort-based program covers architect capabilities that can be applied to a range of industries.

You will practice working with various stakeholders and personas to define a solution that meets business needs and adheres to the cornerstones of architecture excellence. You will learn how to gather requirements, consult for process re-engineering, and integrate the most appropriate CIWF modules with other systems.

2. Who is this program for?

The Certified Workflow Architect (CWA) program is designed for professional implementers, architects, and business process consultants who are eager to elevate their skills in the principles of architectural excellence. The first Certified Workflow Architect program is specifically tailored to Customer and Industry Workflows.

The Customer and Industry Workflow Architect program is designed to enhance the expertise of those who already have implementation experience, providing a more focused understanding of the CIWF architecture. This program is NOT for individuals who have worked on implementations as a developer or non-technical consultant role.

3. What are the prerequisites for the CWA-CIWF program?

Participants must have the following prerequisites:

  • Certified System Administrator
  • Certified Implementation Specialist for CSM or FSM
  • Architect Excellence accreditation
  • Implementation experience on 5+ CIWF project(s)

4. What is the difference between CWA-CIWF and Architecture Excellence?

The Architecture Excellence (ArchX), program is a foundational course designed to cover the core principles and leading practices of architecture excellence. It is primarily targeted at architects who are early in their career. ArchX is a prerequisite for the other Expert Programs.

The CWA-CIWF program delves into the cornerstones of architectural excellence and applies them specifically to customer and industry Workflows. It is designed for those with the foundations of architecture and have implementation experience specific to CIWF.

5. What is the duration of the program?

There are four weeks of content, followed by a two-week certification assessment window. You can expect to spend 6-8 hours a week on self-paced learning, individual activities, discussions, and peer reviews.

6. Is it an instructor-led program?

No, this is a virtual program with no set live meeting times. Self-paced content is released each week over four weeks for you to complete based on your schedule. It's best to keep up with your cohort by completing the weekly content within that week. You will have a two-week window for the final assessment, allowing you to finish the program content and submit the final assessment within the six-week time frame.

There is a moderator that you will engage with via discussion boards and comments. Therefore, the program is available across all time zones and global locations.

7. What is the cost of the program?

$4,000 USD with no discounts available. Payment can be made via learning credits or credit card. Learning credits must equal the full value of the program, so if you have purchased the learning credits with a discount, this will be reconciled to cover the full value of the program.

The total number of seats is 50 with the waiting list of 10.

12. What is a cohort-based program?

A cohort-based program is a structured learning experience where a group of learners progress through the program together. This approach fosters a sense of community, collaboration, and support among participants as they engage in shared activities, discussions, and learning objectives.

The CWA-CIWF program has fixed start and end dates, allowing participants to form bonds, exchange ideas, and grow together over the program. While the program is self-paced, it is critical to complete the content and activities as they become available each week. Staying current with your cohort allows you to participate in relevant discussions (the topics and activities of the week) and receive timely feedback on your posts and contributions. Experiencing the program as it is designed ensures you receive the benefits of cohort learning!

As part of the cohort, there will also be an Expert Programs moderator dedicated to your learning experience and successful completion.
