Overview

This Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) answers questions related to exams in German, French, and Korean to be discontinued by October 5. This change will allow learners to complete the exam in the same language they consumed the training material in. Leading to better learning outcomes and a more effective educational experience.

Why are French, Korean and German exams being discontinued? 

Currently, our users can complete exams in five languages. However, courses are almost exclusively completed in either English or Japanese. 

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer courses in French, German and Korean. To improve consistency across certification courses & exams, localization of exams will be discontinued until course content is also available in localized language. 

Since I took the course in French, German, or Korean, can I use my existing voucher to take the exam in English? 

 

No, the existing voucher you received is non-transferrable and will not work. However, you will have a new voucher assigned so that you can take the exam in English. 
Are my previous certifications still valid, although I completed my exam in French, German, or Korean?  Yes, absolutely! Your Now Learning account will reflect all certifications you have accomplished. 
Will I need a new Webassessor account?  Yes, a new Webassessor account will be needed. However, ServiceNow will create one for you, and you will receive your new login ID via email. You will need to keep your credentials for future log in. 
What is the deadline for taking an exam in French, German, or Korean?  The deadline for taking an exam in French, German, and Korean is October 4, 2023
Are there any other languages I can take exams in going forward?  Yes, English will always be available. Japanese is also available should you decide to continue your certification journey in Japanese. 
Will certifications in French, German, or Korean be offered in the future?  We do not have a timeline currently. We are discontinuing certifications until related training courses are available.
