Introduction
The ServiceNow Micro-Certification – UI Builder Exam Specification defines the purpose, audience, testing options, exam content coverage, test framework, and prerequisites to become UI Builder certified.
Exam Purpose
The Micro-Certification – UI Builder exam certifies that a successful candidate has the skills and essential knowledge to create and configure web-based workspace and custom portal experiences within UI Builder using Next Experience® Components and custom web components.

The Micro-Certification – UI Builder exam is available to ServiceNow customers, partners, and employees.

Exam questions are based on official ServiceNow training materials, the ServiceNow Product documentation site, and the ServiceNow developer site. Study materials posted elsewhere are not official and should not be used to prepare for the examination.

Exam Registration
Each candidate must register for the exam via Now Learning after successfully completing the Micro-Certification – UI Builder prerequisite course (UI Builder Fundamentals). The exam is available directly through Now Learning as a non-proctored, 60-minute exam.
Exam Structure
Number of Items
The exam consists of approximately 13 questions. For each question on the examination, there are multiple possible responses. The person taking the exam reviews the response options and selects the most correct answer to the question.
Multiple Choice (single answer)
There are at least four possible responses for each multiple-choice question on the exam. Select the one response that most accurately answers the question.
Multiple Select (select all that apply)
There are at least four possible responses for each multiple-select question on the exam. The question will state how many responses should be selected. Select ALL responses that accurately answer the question. Partial credit is not provided.
Exam Result
The exam result is immediately displayed as a pass or fail after completing and submitting the exam.
Pass Result
A pass result indicates that the certification has been earned. Micro-certifications never expire. However, if new requirements are added, you will be expected to complete the requirements to maintain the certification.
Fail Result
A failed result indicates that the certification was not earned. Following certification industry best practices, we do not share incorrect items or the correct responses. Review the Retake Policy for more information.
