Completing your Delta exam

Overview

To maintain your certification, you will need to complete the delta certification for the next release following the one you are currently certified in. For example, if you are certified in the Washington release, you will need to take the certification for the Xanadu release in the upcoming update. Refer to latest Training and Certification release dates. If you have not yet paid your Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) Fee, you must pay the fee before you can complete the delta exam. The following instructions will guide you through the process of completing your Delta Exam.

General Notes

Delta exams:

  • Include - Mainline, Accreditation, Micro-Certification (not all require a Delta exam)
  • Available for 90 days.
  • Time to complete – 90 minutes or less. 
  • Consist of 20 questions or less.
  • Non-proctored - there is no testing center needed. 
  • Managed and completed in Now Learning.
  • Required to maintain your Certification.
  • You will need to pass any delta exam(s) that indicate At Risk, otherwise your certification expires.
  • For the window release schedule dates, refer to Training and Certification Release Dates.

Important Prerequisites:

  • Make sure that your Webassessor email is connected to your Now Learning account; otherwise, your certifications will not be visible in Now Learning for you to take your delata(s). Refer to Link Your Webassessor Account to Now Learning.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Now Learning. If needed, refer to Sign In (Log In) to Now Learning.
  2. From the home page, select the Access your Delta exam(s) link in the banner. All of your at At Risk Certifications display.
    NOTE: 
    If the banner fails to appear, it could be attributed to one of the following reasons: 
    • Webassessor is not linked to your Now Learning account
    • No Payment due
    • All of your mainlines are current

  3. Select the certification. The course page displays.
  4. If asked, review and accept the Security Terms & Conditions.
  5. Select the Start button to complete your delta.
    NOTE: Repeat steps 2 - 5 for each At Risk Certification.
    After you pass your exam(s), your certification status field will change to Current within 24 hours.
