Overview

Knowledge article provides instructions on how to switch from computer audio to phone call audio when joining a Zoom meeting.

 

Instructions

IMPORTANT: This process only works on the actual link to a class. It does not work on the Zoom test meeting at zoom.us/test.

For Learners unable to use their computers for Zoom audio, or for those who prefer phone audio, there is the option to use dial-in. 

  1. Open the Zoom link you received in the class welcome email. This link is available in The Essentials section, and under the Link to Join. When joining the meeting, the audio options display.

    Use the image below to locate the Phone Call tab in the Choose ONE of the Audio Conference Options popup screen.

  2. Select the Phone Call tab at the top of the screen to switch from Computer Audio to Phone Call. The dial-in information displays.
  3. Use the dial-in information to make your audio call.
