About this Course
Mobile functions extend the value of the mobile apps by allowing actions to be taken on records beyond those available in the Activity Stream. This can include action functions, such as creating a new incident or editing an existing work order, navigation functions, which allow navigation to other areas or screens within the mobile apps, and smart buttons, which provide access to actions such as initiating a call or navigating to a destination.
Baseline plugins and Store apps include preconfigured functions, which can be applied and edited. Functions can be created from scratch and applied to baseline plugins and Store apps or newly created applications and screens.
This course provides an overview of the types of functions, describes how to apply existing functions to new or existing screens, and reviews how to create new functions.
