About this Course
CMDB and CSDM Data Foundations Dashboards, available from the ServiceNow Store, contains dashboards which provide insights into key foundation indicators of your CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
This course is designed for ServiceNow CMDB administrators and implementers who want to learn how to identify areas of concern in a CMDB and remediate the issue.
Learners attending this course can expect to understand why CMDB health matters, the importance of installing and utilizing the CSDM and CMDB Data Foundations Dashboards, the three pillars to a successful CMDB implementation, key fields on CI records to pay close attention to, how to populate groups with dynamic CIs, identify and remediate duplicate locations, and how to ensure CI data is present on an incident record to streamline remediation efforts.
The course includes only a video presentation and was recorded using the CMDB and CSDM Data Foundations Dashboards version 2.2.3, but the concepts presented can be applied to older and newer versions. All videos contain closed captions. In addition, to prove understanding of the topics presented, a CMDB Health Improvement quiz is available at the end of the course and is required in order to receive a badge.
