Issue

Issue example scenario: I am unable to connect my localized Webassessor account, for example, my German Webassessor account, to my NowLearning account. An error popup is appearing.

 

Error:

We are unable to link your Webassessor account at this time. A notification has been sent to the Now Learning support team to fix the issue. In the meantime, please open a case so we can notify you when a fix is made. You will also want to verify you are attempting to link your Webassessor email address and not your Webassessor login name(which is often an email address.)

Cause

In October 2023, ServiceNow certification exams are now exclusively available in English or Japanese. Users had the option to create a webassessor account with the language of their choice. Now we have been limited to 2 languages. An email notification was sent to the impacted users who have created a localized webassessor account in the following regions:

  • French
  • German
  • Korean

Current regions available:

  • English: ServiceNow
  • Japanese: ServiceAPJ

 

Resolution

To proceed, you can create a Webassessor account in either English or Japanese. Once your account is set up, you can link your webassessor account to your Now Learning portal and proceed to register for the exam using your newly created Webassessor account:
