Redeem and Access On Demand eBook - Gilmore

Overview

Utilize the instructions below to redeem an on demand eBook.

To locate your ebook tab in Now Learning refer to Locating On Demand eBook details in Now Learning - Gilmore.

 

Instructions

Create an Account to access your eBook within the Gilmore eVantage system:
  1. Go to https://evantage.gilmoreglobal.com/#/user/registration.
  2. Fill out the registration form and click Register.
  3. Read and Accept the license agreement.
  4. Select Continue.
Redeem your License Code
  1. The eBook code is located on the main course page after course enrollment, copy the ebook code.
  2. Select Manage, followed by Redeem.
  3. Paste your 20-digit License Code into the Code To Redeem field and select Redeem.
    NOTE: Enrollment in an on demand course gives you access to the course for 12 months from the date of enrollment. For our free content, access is generally until the course is retired.  
  4. You will now see your eBook(s) in your Bookshelf Online Library.
    NOTE: Not every on demand course includes an e-book.
  5. Update Library each time you login to your account to ensure you always have the most up-to-date eBook. Complete this by clicking the Tools icon and selecting Update Library

IMPORTANT: Accessing your eBook online will limit your access to the book to two years. It will then disappear from your Bookshelf Online Library. To download the eBook for perpetual use, use the Bookshelf application on either your desktop (must have administrative rights to install software on your Desktop) or an Apple, Android, or Kindle Fire device.

 

RECOMMENDED: Install Bookshelf App on Desktop or Apple, Android, or Kindle Fire Device:

If you would like to install the Bookshelf Application to your desktop or Apple, Android, or Kindle Fire device, go to the eVantage Bookshelf Download page. Please be advised that Internet Access is required on your first login to allow your eBook(s) to sync with Bookshelf Online.

 

Download eBook to your bookshelf library

  1. Double-click on the Bookshelf Icon.
  2. Select Sign-in.
  3. Enter the email address and password that you used when you registered.
  4. Click Sign-in.
  5. Click on All Titles.
  6. Select an e-Book and double-click to download and view.
  7. If you do not see your eBook(s), select the Menu icon > Update Library.
  8. Please Update Library each time you login to your account to ensure you always have the most up-to-date eBook.
