Overview
Learners who have held a mainline certification for two or more delta releases will be charged a single fee to maintain their certifications, regardless of how many certifications one possesses. The annual fee provides access to one delta release exam, for example, Rome and Utah. The delta release exam eliminates the need to recertify, saving you the time to prepare and take the entire exam and the cost of paying for the whole exam each year.
If you choose not to pay between January 15, 2026, and April 15, 2026, a 'Payment Due' notification widget will display on your ServiceNow University Home page until the payment is made.
NOTE: The CMP notification widget will not appear on your learning profile until the CMP release, of January 15, 2026.
Each time there is a new delta release, the dates above will be updated in the widget. For more information refer to the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) FAQ.
