Lab Instance - Unable to login, username and password invalid, invalid login

Overview

Some issues with lab instances can be responded to timely using our Virtual Assistant.

It may be that the instance state is still launching? check on the course page for the instance state, if it is still launching then it is not ready for login yet, please wait until the instance status is Running.

 

It may also be worth checking for the email we send out with the instance credentials, the username is always: admin and the password would be a random set of characters which is disclosed on the instance email.

Rather than creating a case in ServiceNow University and waiting for a response from our support team:treset the instance credentials immediately, use our Virtual Agent in the bottom right corner of your lab course.

  1. In your lab course specific to your training path, select the Agent icon. The Agent is located on the bottom right corner of your lab course. The Agent launches.

  2. Select Lab Instance for the Topic and then select Reset credentials.

    IMPORTANT: Wait a few minutes and then try the username and password combo again in the lab instance.
